Recientemente comenzó a difundirse en español un hoax que viene circulando hace años en inglés.
El mensaje dice que el diseñador de ropa Tommy Hilfiger aceptó haber hecho comentarios racistas en el programa televisivo de Oprah Winfrey, por ejemplo: “…si yo hubiera sabido que afro-americanos, hispanos, judios y asiáticos comprarían mi ropa, no la hubiese hecho tan bonita.”

!Que bien por Ophra! En la grabación reciente de uno de sus programas The Ophra Winfrey Show, Oprah tuvo como invitado a Tommy Hilfiger.
En el show, ella le preguntó sobre si unas expresiones racistas de las que a el se le acusaba haber hecho, eran ciertas.
Expresiones como “…si yo hubiera sabido que afro-americanos, hispanos, judios y asiáticos comprarían mi ropa, no la
hubiese hecho tan bonita.”
“…desearía que esta clase de gente NO comprara mi ropa, ya que son hechas para una clase superior de gente blanca”.
“La contestacion a las preguntas de Oprah fue
un simple “Si”.
Inmediatamente Oprah procedio a pedirle que abandonara el set del programa
Mi sugerencia…no compremos nuestra ropa ni perfumes de la linea Tommy Hilfiger.
Vamos a darle lo que el pide… no compremos sus productos. Vamos a ponerlo en un estado financiero donde el mismo no podrá costear los ridículos precios que el le pone a su ropa.
Hagámosle un boicot, envía este mensaje a todos los que conoces.

Oprah Winfrey ha expresado en su sitio web que esa escena jamás sucedio, que Hilfiger nunca concurrió a su programa y que ella nunca lo entrevistó.
Tommy Hilfiger, por su parte, además de negar totalmente esos dichos, mantiene en su sitio web una página con enlaces a distintos sitios de hoaxes, diarios y otras organizaciones donde se da cuenta de que el mensaje es falso.

You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
I’ve never been a big fan of Apple but I have to admit that the iphone is quite good!

The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Used it for a week so far and all I can say wow. The appetite is the first thing I have noticed. After few days you can feel you have more energy and you are not tired through the day. I would be hungry all the time before I was using this and I could not get low body fat with 3 to 5 days at the gym because of my calorie intake. With this it should not be a problem. At this price you can’t say its not worth trying. I also take a multivitamin and Omega 3.

all i have to say is wow. it worked for me. maybe the people upset with this product didn’t really use it properly. maybe they skipped out of a little bit of exercise. it worked for me and that’s all i have to say about it. now im going to get my ACUs in a smaller size as they seem a bit large for me now.thanks for your product.

Like designers are forced to design stuff within the limited code available and not go beyond it, their innovation is somewhat limited but still I think Web Design won’t die! Im not one for fad diet supplements - but I tried this anyways. Firt off, it’s no miracle diet pill. There’s no such thing. But, if you use this in conjunction with smart eating habits and some form of daily exercise - you will see results. I just finished my first round and I have lost 10 lbs. in about 3 weeks. I used the supplement with a modified Special K cereal diet as well as 30-60 mins a day Dance Dance Revolution cardio (I found that DDR is the best low impact cardio that I don’t get bored with.) The product is very mild on your system, there’s no discomfort that I was aware of. It curbed my appetite, upped my energy so I was actually motivated to workout when I got home from work instead of crashing on the couch and some of the little bonuses I noted from using this product were that my skin has been clearer and I am also sleeping better. I’m so pleased with the results so far, I am already ordering another.

I’m a horticulture student, so I can answer this one: What the trees are doing is shedding their bark because their trunks are expanding. It’s just like arthropods, such as insects and crustaceans, shedding their exoskeletons. A rigid body covering is not readily expandable. Therefore, a new skin of bark is formed and the old one sheds off to allow for the increase in trunk size.
