‘Transformers’ y ‘Heroes’, lo mas descargado en Internet en 2007

Comienza 2008. Así que es hora de hacer las listas de lo más del 2007. En cuestión audiovisual, ya sabemos cuáles fueron las películas más taquilleras y los DVD (originales) más vendidos. Pero eso tal vez no signifique que hayan sido las más vistas. Y es que el fenómeno de las descargas por Internet a través de los programas P2P (peer to peer) tiene cada vez más importancia en el consumo de películas.
Y en particular, en España, el país europeo que más descargas alegales realiza de películas y música por Internet. El 52% de los internautas españoles se baja películas de la Red, mientras que la media en Europa es del 20%.

Así las cosas, y con la polémica del canon digital y la piratería de por medio, ya hay lista de las pelis y las series de televisión más descargadas (o pirateadas, como prefieren decir los defensores del canon). Lo ha realizado TorrenFreak, un blog dedicado a noticias y artículos relacionados con BitTorrent y el P2P, en general.

El estudio se basa en las descargas que se han realizado a través de este famoso programa de intercambio, y no incluye otros como eMule (el más usado en España), Ares, Pando, etcétera. Además, únicamente contiene datos de Minonova, uno de los tracker (directorios) más populares de BitTorrent, aunque desde luego no el único (The PirateBay, SumoTorrent, Demonoid o Isohunt).

Con todas estas precisiones, la película más descargada de 2007 fue Transformers, seguida de la comedia Lío embarazoso (Knocked Up), El tirador (Shooter) y Piratas del Caribe en el fin del mundo (lo de piratas no va con segundas). Pero, sin duda, las reinonas de las descargas son, con mucho, las series de TV. Héroes, la serie de los mutantes con poderes extraordinarios, se llevó el gato al agua, seguido del clásico remozado Batalla Galáctica (BattleStar Galactica), Perdidos, Prison Break y Mujeres desesperadas.

Curiosamente en la lista de los 10 DVD más pirateados sólo se encuentran dos coincidencias con el top de las diez películas más taquilleras en España en 2007: Piratas del Caribe. En el fin del mundo y 300. El resto del ránking no coincide. Respecto a las series, Perdidos y Battlestar también aparecen en el top de los DVD (originales) más vendidos.

Las cinco películas más taquilleras en España (hasta el 16 de diciembre de 2007) fueron Piratas del Caribe. En el fin del mundo, con 21,2 millones de euros; El Orfanato, con 18,5 millones; Shrek Tercero, con 18,2 millones; Spider-Man 3, con 17,5 millones; y Harry Potter y la Orden del Fénix, con 15,8 millones. Y los DVD originales más vendidos Piratas del caribe, Blade Runner, Alatriste, Perdidos, Pulp Fiction, Gladiador, House, El Laberinto del Fauno, 300, Infiltrados y Battlestar Galactica.
